Why would I give a startup my GST OTP?
You shouldn't, blindly. The OTP lets us read your returns through GSTN's official API, for the window you choose when you switch on API access at gst.gov.in. You can switch it off there any time. We read the sales lines, stamp your range and delete what we read.
Is my exact revenue ever shown?
No. Everyone else sees a range, like ₹5–25 Cr, with the year, the source and a confidence level. The exact figure isn't stored. Later, a buyer you approve can see exact figures in a data room, and only with your consent.
My books undersell the business. Will my range look small?
It shows what you filed. That's exactly why people trust it. If your GST and income tax disagree, we flag it and a person reviews it before anyone sees a range.
Anyone can see my turnover slab on the GST portal. What's different?
That slab comes from GST alone. We reconcile GST with your income-tax return across every GSTIN under your PAN, attach a confidence level, and show it only where you choose.
